To Joe Frazier, photography is a storytelling tool. With a curiosity about what motivates people and the patience to watch for interactions that reveal our true selves, he captures the moments that define our movements, our relationships, and our lives. From town hall meetings to million-strong marches, he centers the people most impacted by the systems that rule our lives, reflects our humanity, and captures the passion of the people who will lead us to a better world.
Joe Frazier is a Portland-based photojournalist who spent a year capturing the resistance movement in his city. While not on expeditions for his travel site Euphoregon, or covering the latest campaign event, he is also a contributor to news and social good organizations.
